Atop Muttersberg lies a jewel of unique design: the Muttersberg Mountain Stage. With space for about 3,000 people, the Muttersberg Mountain Stage provides a one-of-a-kind venue for unforgettable evenings amidst a spectacular mountain panorama.
In order to offer each person a clear view of the performers, terraced standing space has been constructed, ensuring that everyone enjoys the concert to the fullest.
World-famous bands, such as The Spider Murphy Gang, The Bellamy Brother's or U.S. star Tommy Cash, have already graced the stage with their performances. In addition, the stage was the location of the 2004 world premiere of Joseph Vilsmaier's film adaptation of Adalbert Stifter's "Bergkristall."
Concert-goers are also provided with an abundence of culinary delights from local farmers, ensuring the satisfaction of not only their eyes and ears, but bellies, too--all served from custom-crafted miniature mountain huts.
